Jurnal Adjektiva: Educational Languages and Literature Studies (2622-6022) well-known as Adjektiva is an forum for original research on linguistics, literature, eduaction an international forum for original research focused on identities as local contexts, like an identity in linguistics, identity in literature, and identity in language education in global and local contexts, especially in Indonesia. These may include but are not limited to various fields, such as we are interested in interdisciplinary studies examining how issues of linguistics, literature, and education in language influence individual and community identities. In order to publish in Adjektiva, a study must have an overview of previous research or theoretical concepts that are packaged to justify the novelty/uniqueness of this study and central focus on local, foreign, minority, heritage, or indigenous languages (or non-standard dialects) and their intersection with either identity and/or education in language, linguistics and literature. We welcome a variety of topics, theoretical orientations, and methodological approaches (both qualitative and quantitative). Studies that highlight the potential of Linguistics and Applied Linguistics (e.g. Phonology, Morphology, Syntax, Sociolinguistics, Psycholinguistics, Anthropolinguistics, Ethnolinguistics, Stylistics, Dialectology, LHK, Psychopragmatics, etc.). Critical studies of Literature (e.g. Digitizing literature, new literary theories, applied literature). Identity in language and literature(e.g. Ethnic Identity, vocational identity, job identity, religious identity, moral identity, political identity, etc.). Research on innovations or on the effectiveness of various language education program models (e.g. Learning Curriculum, Learning Strategies, Learning Assessment, BIPA, International Language Coaching).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of maxims, obedience to maxims, and violation of the maxims of politeness in online learning at SD N 013 gotong royong, Samarinda city, which aims to describe pragmatic research studies. The research subject is online learning. The object of research is the observance of the maxim of politeness and the violation of the maxim of politeness in online learning that takes place at school. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive method. Techniques Data collection is done by observing methods. The data analysis technique is to clarify and classify the data. The results showed that there were 35 utterances of teachers and students in online learning at SD Negeri 013 gotong royong in the city of Samarinda which were identified as forms of politeness maxims. 27 utterances of obedience to the maxim of politeness, and 8 utterances of violation of the maxim of politeness to teachers and students. The data on compliance with maxims and violations consist of four utterances of obedience to the maxim of wisdom and two utterances of violation of the maxim of wisdom. Three utterances of obedience to the maxim of generosity and one utterance of violation of the maxim of generosity. Five utterances of respecting the maxim of respect and no utterances of violation of the maxim of appreciation. There are four utterances of obeying the maxim of simplicity and four utterances of violating the maxim of simplicity. Six utterances of compliance with the maxim of consensus and one utterance of violation of the maxim of consensus. Five utterances of compliance maxim of sympathy and no utterances of violation of maxim of sympathy.

Abstract

In the interactions carried out by traders and buyers in the process of buying and selling transactions in the Samarinda Animal Traditional Market, there are speeches that violate the principle of politeness in language. This has prompted researchers to analyze language politeness in the Samarinda Animal Traditional Market. This study aims to describe the level of politeness in the use of community language in the Samarinda Veterinary Traditional Market and describe the violation of the politeness principle spoken by the Samarinda Animal Market community. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this study are tapping techniques, listening techniques, recording techniques and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique uses a pragmatic equivalent technique. The data in this study are the speeches of traders and buyers at the Samarinda Animal Traditional Market which violate the politeness principle and the politeness scale proposed by Leech. The results of the analysis of the analysis of language politeness violations in buying and selling transactions in the traditional animal market of Samarinda in terms of politeness resulted in an analysis of the Leech politeness scale consisting of cost benefits or the scale of loss and gain, optionality scale or scale of choice, and indirectness scale or indirectness scale. This study also resulted in violations of Leech's six politeness maxims which consist of the maxim of wisdom, the maxim of generosity, the maxim of acceptance, the maxim of humility, the maxim of agreement and the maxim of sympathy

Abstract

Literature is an expression of the human person in the form of experiences, thoughts, feelings, ideas, passions, beliefs in a form of concrete images that evoke charm with language tools. Jaranan performance is a ritual art activity carried out by the community as entertainment for the people of the village of Warat Baru and also to resist reinforcements. Semiotics is a science that studies a sign and the meaning in a sign, which is divided into three types, namely icons, indexes and symbols. The purpose of this study is to describe the shape of icons, indices and symbols in the speech of the Jaranan performance mantra in Prangat Baru village, Marangkayu district, Kutai Kartanegara regency. The data collection method used in this research is qualitative research, namely observation, structured interviews, recording, and collection tools in the form of interview instruments, recordings, photos, videos, and translation. The results of the research from the data of mantra speech using semiotic analysis obtained 3 utterances in the form of the 'Prince' icon, 'Sesaji', 'incense lan sela'. Obtained 4 indexes 'Sun Puji Maring Pangeran Mugi Sometimes Mitro Sami', 'Suro Diro Joyo Diningrat Melts Dening Pangastuti', 'Enjoy the offering of supados, enjoy smoothness and protection', 'kula sukani, let Kangge eat the ringgit wayangipun kula'. Get 3 symbols 'Yellow Janur', 'Semeblak koyo Geni', 'Jabang Bayine'. This study aims to describe the form of code mixing between Indonesia and Kutai languages as well as the factors behind the occurred among traders at Pasar Gerbang Raja Mangkurawang, Tenggarong district. The analysis method used in this study is the contextual method. This research is a qualitative research, where the research that produces descriptive data in the form of written words. The data collection techniques used werw listening, recording and interviewing techniques. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the form of code mixing included the insertion of elements in the form of 28 words, 2 phrases and 1 clause. The background for the occurrence of code mixing is due to two factors, namely the speaker factor and the language factor. Speakers factor that causes code mixing, due to relaxedness and habits in language. Abstract

This research was conducted to develop the Kutai language in the Tenggarong Kota dialect and at the same time as a contribution of knowledge related to the mixing of the codes for the Kutai language in the Tenggarong Dialect. Thus, local languages ​​can continue to be preserved so that speakers of regional languages ​​can use regional languages ​​according to their place and situation. The research objective was to determine the code mixing event that occurred in the Separi Village Office, Kutai Kartanegara Regency and to describe the insertion of language elements that was more dominant in the code mixing event. The method used in this qualitative research is observation, the observation method with basic techniques, namely tapping techniques and note taking techniques. The results showed that code mixing occurred in the Separi Village Office, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, between Indonesian and Kutai languages. The code mixing that occurs is indicated by the insertion of linguistic elements in the form of words, phrases and clauses. The most dominant insertion of linguistic elements in the code mixing process at the Separi Village Office, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, is the insertion of linguistic elements in the form of phrases.
